1 package of 250 g (4 cups) of Les Cultures de chez nous sliced leeks
45 ml (3 tablespoons) of flour
15 ml (1 tablespoon) of butter
5 cups of water
85 ml (1/3 cup) of bovril beef concentrate
1 bag of onion soup
Thyme, salt and pepper up to taste
Preparation
Side-by-side mode
In a casserole, melt butter and brown sliced leeks. Add flour, mix well.
Add water, bovril and onion soup.
Let simmer slowly.
Add thyme, salt and pepper.
Continue cooking till times to serves. Check out the seasonings up to your taste.
Chef’s note
This broth may be also use in gratin onion soup or can also be frozen.
