Ingredients
  • 2.5 litres (10 cups) of blueberries
  • 2 litres (8 cups) of sugar
  • 75 ml (1/3 cup) of lemon juice
  • 85 ml (3 envelopes) of liquid pectin
  • 150 ml (2/3 cup) of Grand Marnier

  • Wash and dry blueberries. Set blueberries, sugar, and lemon juice in a large cauldron. Then, lightly crush the ingredients. Bake at high heat while constantly stirring. After getting to a boil, cook for 10 minutes at medium heat. Watch and stir regularly. Lower to a lower heat.
  • Add pectin and simmer for about 10 minutes. Take this time to sterilize your pots. Remove foam (foam over the jam) and add Grand Marnier while stirring vigorously for 1 minute.
  • Pour and seal into your pots.
Chef’s note

This recipe is ideal for a breakfast on the terrasse with a good coffee. You can make the same recipe by replacing blueberries with strawberries and the Grand Marnier with Porto.
