BBQ grilled asparagus, feta cheese and honey

Ingredients
  • 454 g (1 lb) of asparagus
  • 15 ml (1 tablespoon) of sesame oil
  • 5 ml (1 teaspoon) of pepper
  • 5 ml (1 teaspoon) of salt
  • 30 ml (2 tablespoons) of feta cheese
  • 5 ml (1 teaspoon) of white sesame seeds
  • 5 ml (1 teaspoon) of honey
Preparation

  • Trim the asparagus by cutting off the woody ends.

  • Place the asparagus in a large dish and drizzle with sesame oil.

  • Season with salt and pepper, then toss until the asparagus are well coated.

  • Preheat the BBQ to about 400°F (200°C). Grill the asparagus for 5 to 8 minutes, turning occasionally, until charred, tender, and still slightly crisp.

  • Arrange the cooked asparagus on a serving plate and top with feta cheese, sesame seeds, and a drizzle of honey.
